Hmmm...I may be up for something like that, assuming it's no repeat of the Mt. Sonoma Dehydration Disaster of '99.

It's five miles each way, gaining about 2,000 feet, so it's a fairly strenuous hike.

I wish I had friends and Manhattan had mountains, that sounds like fun.

It's straight up and down a fire road at an angle...it doesn't ever level off. So it's not your traditional hike around and up. I think now is the best time, too, because Napa is HOT in the summer. (I hear you can see Mt. Shasta from the top.)
